This has certainly been one tough year so far. The Pandemic changed so much about how how we live our lives and forced some changes that, while necessary, were very difficult to accept. I suspect your Thanksgiving and probably Christmas too will also be very different this year. I certainly hope and pray you have a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving and holiday season.
One of the important things we do on Thanksgiving is count our blessings and express to God all that we are thankful for. Depending on your circumstances you may not be feeling very thankful this year. I get that, but remember we don’t just give thanks only when things are going well. The scriptures teach that we are to give thanks in all circumstances – good times, bad times and all times in-between. I would be interested in what you are thankful for this year. You received a link to this page. I encourage you to write your Thanksgiving in the comments section of this post. I hope to include some of your thanksgivings in the prayers this coming Sunday. As you read these comments and read what others have shared, you may also be inspired to add some things to your list of thanksgivings.
God bless and keep you this Thanksgiving and always.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
